Exultia is a project in a style that completely blew my mind and that I fell in love with in 2018 : Goa trance. It’s quite funny because, although it remains psychedelic music, it’s a totally different world from what I’ve done until now. This style was a revelation as soon as I experienced it on the dance floor. That magical place where joy, jubilation, well-being, sharing good energy, and universal love prevail.
And this is the direction I want to take with this project, because it’s what deeply touches me about it.
The style is mainly Goa trance, but i’m an experimenter… there is others stuff in it.
Exutlia is about building moments that lead to intense, euphoric climaxes. I like to jubilate. ^-^
Also, I realy like melodies, exploring different atmospheres or feel the energy of the music, …
And if you think that i’m making electronic music just for the money : No, Goa trance is probably one of the most underground genres in the world.
“So well done, Nico, great choice !” I’ve found something even less commercial than progressive rock ! ^-^ That’s certainly not the good way to maintain my artist status. But here’s the thing :
I can only create what my heart tells me to. So let it be.
